At Anavil, we take pride in being FSC™ certified

At Anavil, we take pride in being FSC™ certified

and are fully committed to caring for nature and its resources to the best of our ability. Since our inception, wood has been our most important component, and we naturally strive towards sustainable community and responsible forestry practices.

We became a member of FSC in 2009 and continuously work towards sustainability and social responsibility. Most of our furniture is FSC certified, and the wood has a known and acceptable origin. The FSC certification enables our customers, both as retailers and consumers, to make informed choices and select furniture made of wood that originates from responsible forests.

So, what does FSC™ certification signify?

The Forest Stewardship Council™'s mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of the world's forests. With FSC certification, we ensure that Anavil, as a supplier, adheres to the rules established by FSC for responsible forestry and traceability.

Our FSC™ license number is FSC-C004833.

Our commitment to sustainability

Our commitment to CSR

At Anavil, we consistently and systematically operate in an environmentally conscious and responsible manner.

Our product life cycle assessments have shown that our supply chain has the greatest environmental impact, which can only be addressed effectively through collaborative solutions.

Our products comply with norms and standards such as REACH, OEKO-TEX®, and FSC™, and are based on a trustworthy chain of custody.

Social Compliance

We consider it our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees by ensuring their rights, wages, working hours, and conditions are respected. We work with our suppliers to help them meet the levels of compliance expected and monitored by international audit systems such as: BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), ICS (Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability), SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audits).

Chemical Management

We require our vendors to have a written chemical management policy and/or procedure in place, with training and systems to ensure all chemicals used in facilities where our products are produced and stored are handled correctly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. These measures limit exposure and accidents and ensure that chemicals are managed safely.
